Wild Clay and Glaze Clinic with Hamish Jackson

We’ll take a walk around the Rogue Valley and forage for wild clay. Hamish Jackson will teach you how to turn this raw material into a useful substance with the understanding of chemistry. How to test and retest your results. To create something that accentuates your creative process and gives a uniqueness to your work from locally sourced materials.

Hamish Jackson is coming to us from the English midlands and has recently relocated to Eugene Oregon. He has a wealth of experience building pieces from the ground up and is bringing his understanding of raw material chemistry to help deepen our understanding of wild clay!
